Vidor Middle School is a Great place to learn.

I'm one of four sixth grade science teachers here at the middle school.  I am very proud or our school and our community.  

At the end of October, ALL 6th grade students participate in our school Invention Fair.  Students are to identify a problem and find a solution for it.

 

On the day of the fair, the students are required to have their

 

1.) Journal (given to the students by the teacher)

2.) Backboard (bought by parent)

3.) Model (built by the student/parent)

 

Parents will be invited to the school that evening to view all the inventions and watch as we award 33 students in 11 catagories. 

 

The invention fair is FUN and it should not be stressful for either the student or the parent.
